（路透巴格達18日電）官員表示，伊拉克部隊今天從伊斯蘭國（IS）手中奪回國內最大煉油廠的大部分廠區，這是本週奪占伊北這座占地廣大煉油廠部分廠區的伊斯蘭國戰士遭逢的挫敗。
對抗伊斯蘭國的美國領導聯軍的發言人說，部隊於格林威治時間11時30分全面奪回白吉（Baiji）煉油廠，但煉油廠所在的薩拉赫丁省（Salahuddin）官員指稱，若干設施附近還在戰鬥。
伊斯蘭國好戰分子於1週前攻擊這座煉油廠，並奪占包括儲槽在內的多個設施。
在去年6月關閉前，白吉煉油廠每日產量約17萬5000桶，伊斯蘭國戰士於去年6月攻占伊北大城摩蘇爾（Mosul）並奪占白吉煉油廠。伊拉克部隊於去年11月奪回此煉油廠，但其後又喪失掌控權。
薩拉赫丁省軍方指揮部消息人土表示，今天持續爆發衝突，叛亂分子在煉油廠南區及西區與軍方精銳部隊及民兵交戰。
薩拉赫丁省長朱布瑞（Raid Jubbouri）說，就軍事觀點而言，伊拉克部隊已全面掌控白吉煉油廠，但若干叛亂分子仍藏匿在煉油廠內。
